The drink. Idk why people think it’s so bad. I had the lemon lime one and tasted fine. Just like a flat sprit.

It’s not as bad as everyone says in my opinion. First time I had the flat orange and second i had fruit punch (I HATE fruit punch) but it was tolerable

First two I’d did glucola and puked it up several times. I had iv zofran before I finally kept it down the third time with my first. With my second, after 3 tries I told them I wasn’t doing it again. I monitored my blood sugar for a few weeks. Third time, I ate bananas and grapes. It was soooo much better than the glucola. I’ll refuse the glucola again this time in favor of fruit. You can consume the right amount of sugar to get an accurate test without downing corn syrup.

I wish I knew there was an alternative to the drink. I did the test on Wednesday and I found the drink was horrible. I've never dry heaved so much in my life. And felt awful for a solid two hours afterwards.

I had orange that taste like flat orange soda, people overreact

I drank it, and was fine for about 45 minutes, then ended up spewing like crazy. Called my midwife and she got me a home finger prick test and asked me to do it 4 times a day for a week. She still asks me to use it occasionally just to monitor my overall glucose level since i have a diabetic family.
