Strawberry chocolate buttercream

Does this sound good?

I know strawberries and chocolate go well together, but I’m concerned that it isn’t gonna work. I made a strawberry buttercream but it wouldn’t thicken to save my life, and it only had a faint strawberry taste. I decided to scrap it as strawberry buttercream and add cocoa powder, to take down the sweetness, thicken it, and give it a bold taste

My brother said it tasted like strawberry straight up, but I don’t taste strawberry

Anyways i have to bring these to my class tomorrow, do you think the flavor sounds good over a vanilla cupcake?
