I’m under this major confusion. My gynaecologist is affiliated with two hospitals and only one of them offers the facility to avail epidural. The one which doesn’t is cheaper than the one which does. Of course the one which is more expensive is way fancier and has several facilities included in the birth package like photos at the time of discharge, cake cutting etc. our only lookout at this time is is epidural mandatory? Can we go without it? I’m 40 weeks today and my doc wants to induce me on Monday. No signs of labor as yet. I am really scared what’s going to happen. If I can have a normal delivery with pains being induced to me and no epidural given.
