Is this too big an age gap?

I’m 25 and talking to a guy I met at work. He’s lovely and smart and mature but he’s 35. Is this too big an age gap??

You’re well over 18, you’re an adult, the age gap no longer matters. You’re both adults, if you like him, and he’s kind and smart & someone you enjoy spending time with him, don’t let anyone else’s idea of an age gap keep you from enjoying his company.

It’s not too bad, what is bad is when he’s 50 or 80 and you’re 20 or if you’re under age. But you’re a grown adult, you’ve probably finish college, you probably have a good job you’re probably have more in common with him because you’re in similar places in life. It’s a different story when one person is in high school and the other persons in college or married with kids or whatever it may be and you have nothing in common because you have an experience the same types of things. The guy am currently with a 16 years older than me, I’m 42. I’ve known him 20 years, but had he approach me back then he would’ve just been the creepy old guy to me and had nothing in common with him. But now that we’re both older, we have a lot in common. You may not share the same movies or music, because you are 10 years apart, but you can always find something to compromise on. As long as he doesn’t make you feel inferior or man Splaine or anything like that because of your age or looks down on you or anything like that, I think it’s OK. It’s what you think is OK for you and what your family thinks is OK for you because they are the people who affect your life. I don’t have anything to do with you and neither does anyone on here in your real life. Our opinions don’t matter, our life doesn’t affect your life. It’s how you choose to live your life. And if anyone has a problem with it, they can kiss your ass, it’s your life and you choose who you wanna be with and how you wanna live your life. If they don’t like it, then they don’t have to be in your life. You do what makes you happy, but make sure you keep your eyes open, for any red flags that I mentioned, anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, anything that bothers you, you need to talk about it with him and hopefully things get better. My aunt is married to someone who was in high school when she was born (almost a 20 year gap) you’re an adult whatever age you’re comfortable with is what’s acceptable (unless for obvious reasons that it’s someone under 18😂)

Age gap is okay. But be careful dating people you work with. If either of you are in a supervisor position over the other person this can be risky
