HSG and IUI in same cycle?

Question

Dr called today to tell me my blood test came back negative, so AF will be showing up shortly. They told me we would go ahead and do the HSG between cd 7 and cd 12. Will they go ahead and still try to do an IUI within the same cycle or will I just kinda sit this next cycle out?

You can do both in the same cycle if you do the hsg early enough. It is actually therapeutic so you have a higher chance of conceiving within the first three months so baby dance away if you don't do iui.

You'll sit the cycle out. They need the results from the HSG in order to continue. It would be a waste of time and money if your tubes are blocked.
