I work in the Nike factory (there are plenty of them so I don’t mind saying where I work) and today I was washing my hands after I used the bathroom. As I was washing them, a person who to me looked like a man, came in the bathroom and went into one of the stalls. Bald head, masculine features, wearing overalls, It wasn’t a person who looked like they were trying to look feminine at all. If you saw this person on the street you would most likely assume they were a man before asking for pronouns if you do that . Nothing came of it but I was really startled but then realized that maybe that was transphobic of me since I don’t know how they identify. The bathroom isn’t unisex and is labeled “Womens” so I’m assuming that they are a trans man early in transition? I have no idea. Am I being transphobic? I didn’t say anything even though I almost said, “You’re in the wrong bathroom” based off habit but I didn’t because I honestly accept all people .
