1 cm dilated.... How much longer till he is here???

How many mommas went a few weeks or a few hours at 1 cm dilated and then had the baby ?? I just want my baby here.

I had premature labor with my last daughter and I was 3cm 75% effaced for 4 weeks before she actually came. With both my 1 & 2nd daughters I was about the same at my 36 week check up and went into labor before I ever go to my 37 week check. It seems to vary from person to person, plus heck I could've been 3cm at 30+ weeks with my 1st 2 girls and not known because my doctor doesn't check unless need be or 36 weeks

I've been 4 cm for a little more then a week and was 2 cm for 3 weeks. I go back to doctor tomorrow to see if anything has changed. Oh and I lost my mucus plug few days ago.

I went from 1 1/2 centimeters last Friday to 2 1/2 today and was told my baby will be here sooner then I think
