How do you know if you are falling out of love?

How do you know if you are falling out of love or its just the end of the honeymoon phase?
I'm really confused and not knowing how to understand my feelings towards my boyfriend. I lately don't find him interesting or smart or even attractive.
He is also not romantic at all. He never surprises me or do somehhing fun for me. Our relationship is becoming very boring and I'm no longer interested in spending lots of time with him. The problem is I can't know how I exactly feel or put it in words. Are these symptoms of falling out of love? Or just something else?

Why don't you sit him down and ask him?
Try thinking of new things together. Like get some hobbies you love to share, go for walks.
Make sure you're suggesting new things with him to make you more interested.
You may be feeling like he's boring but you can change that by making an effort to do things, why don't you treat him to small gifts and see if he returns the favour?

I suppose the one time I fell out of love, I just was always annoyed to have to hang out with my partner, stopped caring if they called & never even wanted to talk to him, no longer desired him sexually or really in any way at all. 
I felt terrible, because he didn't do anything wrong, we just didn't fit together anymore & I was trying to force it, but it just died. 
I think most of all, I lost respect for him. That's really what happened underneath everything else. And it's because he was against BLM. Like that is really at the core of what happened. That ate away at all the remaining respect I had for him, just the way he thought about it lacked awareness to such a degree I couldn't take it.
But it was also that my needs were unmet and I accepted he would NEVER fulfill some of those needs. And it led to a little bit of resentment, because I thought I could at least count on him to emotionally connect, but he wouldn't even think about his own feelings on anything out of fear. Also leading to my lack of respect. I realized he kinda went along with what made me happy never reflecting on anything he wants like, at, all. Hated that. I think because that's not what I signed up for in that relationship. 
But I think people vary here, what is at the core of your love? For me, it's respect. If I lose that, there is no going back.

Everything you described is a great description of somebody falling out of love. But you don't need to explain all that to him because some of it would be hurtful. But you do need to end it. Just tell him that you don't feel the same way anymore and you don't want to be together. Tell him you will cherish the memories with him but you need to move on. He might be fine with it, working might not understand you'll be upset and question. It doesn't really matter. You need to do it sooner rather than later for his sake as well as yours. It's always tough.

In my experience everything they do you thought was cute annoys you, you make more plans with other people than you do with them, if your plans with them don’t involve other people you get bored or frustrated and try to come up with excuses to cut things short, you find yourself putting off sex, youd do anything else that doesn’t involve them and you don’t particularly care what they have been doing either.
