(TW: Abuse) I just heard that controlling partners who use coercive abuse...

Kardilian

Are more likely to kill their intimate partner.

Controlling behavior is an even stronger predictor of domestic homicide than physical abuse.

I just had to spread the word, because, sometimes this type of thing is normalized or goes unseen. But monitoring your partner's daily activities, or attempts to control or restrict their activities, or dictate who they are friends with, dictate their social media activity, exerting financial control, keeping them isolated, etc. Is not okay and not normal.

If your partner does this stuff, you really need to think about that relationship, learn to set healthy boundaries & build trust, or leave.

(I'm looking into this further, it was one study)
