Desperately need advice

Hannah

My daughter has used a pacifier attached to an animal (called a wub a nub) since she was born in June 2019. She recently started biting them and I noticed a piece came off of one, so we decided it was time to get rid of them. As it is we are having twins this August and didn’t want her taking their pacifiers bc of still being attached to them. We had a conversation about how the wub was broken and we cut the pacifier part off so she could still have the stuffed animal part. Well this is day one and it’s a disaster. Her nap took an hour of her screaming and us going in and rubbing her back, then she only slept 45 minutes before waking up screaming. I’m so scared how tonight will be and don’t know if I should just cave and give her a pacifier (but I’m worried about choking if she bites pieces off. Do I just let her cry it out and not go in? I feel so bad for her!! Help!!!!
