I want mine 3-4 years apart like me and my sister. It’s helpful bc the older one will be starting school and be able to do things independently while you’re focusing on a brand new baby. I’ve also found that by that point the older kid always wants to help by going to grab you a diaper or something. And they’ll still be closer than ever with that gap

My oldest is 4, almost 5 and my 2nd is about to one. It's a nice gap because my oldest can do most things for himself. Like he can wipe his butt or get himself out of the bath and dressed. Also, he's well past the carry stage so I'm not juggling two.
