How is everyone with potty training? Any suggestions? Or is it still to early or am I late?

I'm not even thinking about it untill her 2nd birthday unless she asked to go haha. I've seen too my friends stress everybody out constantly asking their young toddler if they need the toilet for months on end. I feel its much better to wait until she is most definitely ready and able to tell me with enough time to get to the toliet in time. Im in not rush.

My LO is only 19 months and is 6 months shy of a little sibling don’t mean to rush him but he is stinky and is uncomfortable with his diapers and want to go to the restroom with me I feel it’s to early but he is learning so fast

We bought a potty chair (currently she likes to stash toys in there) and pull up style diapers for when she is ready. She’s still not to the point of being too aware (at least vocally) of pee and poop urges so we’re waiting a little bit before trying a scheduled attempt - plus new baby is due in about 6 more weeks so I just haven’t had the energy.

It's been hit or miss at our house. I just trying and make a huge deal if she asks and again if she's successful. But nothing regular yet. Weve probably had 6 successful attempts in the last two months.

Not potty training here yet, though my MIL keeps suggesting we start 🙄 my son has 0 ready signs so we're waiting. 🙂 Excited for you guys though!!!

We started pooping on the potty at 9 months every time I could catch her. Now she sits as soon as we get up and then when I do throughout the day. She actually made it in underwear half the day a few days ago I was so proud.

22-28 months is supposedly the sweet spot. Any earlier they may not understand. Any later they may be too independent and fight it.

We sit on the toilet for fun every so often, right before baths or if he’s sees us going and starts saying “toi”(let) or “bye bye poop” but nothing yet. No rush! He might get it soon and then hate it and back and forth lol 2-2 1/2 is usually an average age to be consistent with the training part.
