Waist trainer, is it worth it?

Does anyone have experience with a waist trainer? Pros/cons? Is it worth it?

If you are going to buy one for use get a really good brand the cheap ones hurt more than anything.

I’m 8 weeks PP and I bought a luxx curves one to try. I had a 23 inch waist before kids. Now two kids later (we’re done having kiddos) I’m at a 28 inch waist. Still not horrible, but I want to get down to 22. I’ve been wearing mine (XS) for a week and already see results. I’m already on the second hook and I feel GREAT in it. I’m very confident when i wear it, it’s definitely made a difference in my little mom pouch too.

I just got one for postpartum from Amazon. I also used one for my first and it was intense but I felt like it helped. I didn’t use it right away because it was a thong body suit one. So this time I got one specifically for postpartum. So I’m hoping it’ll work. I get to try it in 8 weeks
