I am 39 weeks today, I got my bloody show a week ago, accompanied by Braxton-Hicks contractions, they lasted 2 days. I went to my OBGYN & he did a cervix exam and told me I had lost my mucus plug. The baby is head down and has been for weeks. The doctors told me to expect him within a few days.

It’s been a week and still haven’t gotten any more contractions or any new signs of labour. What the heck? I’m getting so impatient because I really thought he would be here by now.
