I hate my IUD

I got an IUD a little less than a month and a half ago and i hate it. i got it to help with my period cramps and how heavy my period was. Jokes on me. now i am constantly cramping and i’m going on week 2 of my period when i only had a 5 day period before. like wtf? did i just get super unlucky or something? every reason i got the stupid thing is turning out to do the opposite! has this ever happened to anyone else? i know i’ve only had it for a little over a month, but seriously, this is awful.
