Baby acne?

I’ve seen a lot of posts lately about baby acne. My little boy has had this for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes it looks worse and other times not so bad. Is this baby acne? Or could it be due to an allergy?

I’d say it’s baby acne. My daughter had the same, I actually posted on here asking about it! 
It was at its worst when she was 6 weeks, then it gradually started to fade on its own. I found that anything I put on it just aggravated it, so ended up just wiping her face down with sterile water twice a day. 
She’s now 8 weeks and it’s complete gone!

Baby acne ...but the redness is questionable? I'm not sure if that's typically seen with baby acne. I could be wrong (each baby may react diff) but I'd def take to doc to be certain and rule out allergy due to the red blotches.

Both my son and now my daughter have had baby acne! It happens when your hormones are leaving their bodies, but I think it can also happen when they spit up and it touches their face/skin! If you’re concerned, it definitely doesn’t hurt to ask your pediatrician though! I always rubbed a little bit of breast milk on it or used some water to wash their face/body

Looks like my son’s baby ache when he’s been laying down. It gets more red with heat or contact. It should clear in a few weeks.

This was my sons face before I cut out dairy. I was breastfeeding and giving him two bottles of formula a day and the night I cut out the dairy based formula his skin was clear the next day. His chest and back were also broke out and when hi ped first saw it suggested it was just heat rash but I was not clearing up and has cleared since I cut dairy.

Does it’s look or feel dry at all? Could be eczema. I would google baby eczema and I love the aveeno baby eczema balm. It cleared my girls cheeks in one day and then the acne disappeared over time.
