How can I get prescribed clomid ? 💕

I have a pre pregnancy appointment. And I am kinda nervous I have pcos and have had one known miscarriage. Do I just bluntly ask for clomid ? I know they need to run test and do physicals but how do I go about getting the prescription? Thanks in advance 🥰 BABY DUST TO ALL OF YOU 😘

Absolutely. Tell them, is there anyway we can start talking about clomid? Explain how long you’ve been trying to conceive & if you haven’t yet ask to get your progesterone checked on day 21 of your cycle. After they do that they will usually start you on it! Some doctors aren’t as great as others. I was told no 3 times before my current OB told me yes. So if one won’t help you, find another who will!!!

They will need to do tests most likely first, but you can just talk to them about it. Ask if it is a viable option for you. They should at least be willing to talk to you about it, even if they believe the answer is no.

Ask!! My ob did some labs and then prescribed me Letrozole after I got my iud removed! Of course I’m at a military hospital but your ob could be the same!

I have pcos since 16 we did bloodwork to check my levels again testosterone was still two points over. Was given medicine to help for 4 months. Plan to start end of March if this cycle is unsuccessful.

Just speak to your doctor about the options you have. Of course they will need to do basic testing first, CD3 bloodwork, ultrasound, progesterone check. See if the medication is actually something you need. It is only to assist ovulation so if you don’t have ovulation issues I would not recommend taking it. Do you have regular cycles?
