First car accident.

So I got in my first accident yesterday where I rear-ended someone. It was a minor accident, the other persons car didn’t have any visible damage to it. We exchanged information. I have minor paint scratches on the front of my car thankfully since I don’t have collision coverage because my car is super old.

My question is do I still report the accident to my insurance?
