Postpartum Swelling!?

Question

Has anyone gotten postpartum swelling and gotten it to go down my leg has been swollen for a couple days now and won’t go down and is starting to hurt.

I had horrible postpartum swelling in my thighs, legs, ankles, and feet after my c-section for nearly 1.5 weeks. (I had hardly any swelling at all during the actual pregnancy so it worried me!) 
The doc assured me it was completely normal and sure enough, by week 2, it was gone! I don't know if it's normal with a vaginal birth though.

I also had horrible swelling after my cesarean, didn't have any throughout my pregnancy. The swelling came out of nowhere 5 days PP. Ended up I wasn't keeping my legs propped up enough. Got an ottoman for my rocking chair so I could keep my feet up during breastfeeding. After two days keeping my feet periodically up the swelling finally went down. I'm 2 weeks 4 days PP and happy the swelling has gone away. Hopefully that's all it is for you, try and take it easy when you can (I know it's difficult but your health is just as important as your baby's).

I had a vaginal birth and started to swell 1 day PP because of the iv fluids according to the nurses. It went away within a week.

Did you have a c section? Swelling is totally normal because of all the meds/fluids. I didn’t have any swelling in the hospital but day 3 my ankles started to swell a lot and lasted a few days. I just sat with my feet up as much as possible.

I had it for the first week. I continued to take Tylenol, drank water, and elevated my feet. It went away by week 2

I would get that checked as soon as you can! This doesn’t sound good if it’s starting to hurt.
