pad rash??

so my period is just about ending , & i unexpectedly stayed at a friends house the other night & didnt shower as much as i usually do on my period & now all of a sudden i have this rash thats irritated & stings and its kind of like a diaper rash almost ?

could this be because although i changed my pad and was relatively clean, i didnt shower how i usually do so my skin got irritated ?
