Swaddle for nap times or no?

My daughter is not napping well, on and off in her swing or bouncy chair or on my chest. I’m thinking napping in her crib will be better but should I swaddle her?  I don’t want to confuse her for bedtime, as we swaddle for bed and she does great at night.

Now baby is older they shouldn't get day and night confusion. I swaddle with nap times :)

Yes! I swaddle him , trust me they won’t get confused. I put him in the same way as night time routine for nap but he wakes up in an hour or two . They are big enough to understand. Even I hesitated at the beginning to swaddle but It works better .

It would be actually better to do that! In my opinion. They don’t really get days and nights mixed up anymore because their bodies are already used to know when to sleep. We put him in his crib with it dark and the sound machine on and he does amazing for naps and night sleep. The dark is calming for them! And if you do an easy 5-10 min routine before nap time to get them calm and relaxed and do it about the same every time, they get used to okay it’s time for a nap. As soon as I start his routine for nap time he starts yawning and relaxing. Good luck!!💗

My son won’t nap in his crib unless I swaddle him. I was wondering why he wouldn’t go down before I tried this.
