Black girl needing hair advice
So I've been doing so much thinking about my hair and why something seems to always be going wrong with it and I believe I know what it is. I get my hair braided and stuff, crochet, I've had sew ins, stuff like that. But every time I take them out I've always permed my hair. I was under the impression and taught that my hair needs to be straight to look pretty and I'm pretty sure with how much I've permed it thats why my hair is so damaged. I want to get my hair healthy again. Right now its in crochet, but for when its time to take it out, how can I get my hair healthy and growing? What are some good hair styles I can do with NATURAL black hair that isn't putting perms/relaxers in my hair. My mom was never really a hair person and never taught me how to maintain my hair. She permed her hair a lot to make it straight so thats what we did with mine a lot in my childhood. I don't blame my mom at all. She was just doing what she knows how to do. I would be so grateful for some advice.
