my five week old is having dark dark brown almost black tarry stool. just for today it’s not always like this. i’m thinking it might be because my nipple was cracked and bleeding. but i’ve stopped feeding from that side about 10 hours ago and his last poop was the worst. it smelled so foul. he’s not overly cranky or anything. doesn’t like diaper changes because he’s got diaper rash which we are treating and seems to be getting better. has anyone else experienced this? we got a stool sample and sent it off to the doctors. just waiting on results. also am on a dairy and soy free diet for the last 4 days because he was having dark green poops last week.
