Am I overreacting!?

Question

I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant and my husband is planning a fishing weekend trip 2 weeks before my due date.
Last pregnancy, he planned a hunting trip and my water happen to break before he even got to leave. 
He keeps telling me my due date isn’t until April 6th but I keep telling him I technically can go anytime now. He says I’m overreacting and that he’ll only be 3 hours away and I should be fine. I obviously can’t force him to stay but I’m super annoyed he planned yet another trip around my due date.

Irrational or not, I’d be really upset too. I get that maybe he wants one last getaway before baby but not at the expense of your peace of mind...

I uh, I don’t manage what comes out of my mouth in situations like this very well. And I can have a bit of a hot temper, at times maybe I go a bit overboard. 
Candidly, if it were me, I’d probably tell him not to bother coming back. My parents are even tougher than I am. So I’d probably be sure to tell him that I’ve coordinated with my parents to be on call to do his job while he’s out catching those much-needed fish. 
If you give respect you get respect. If you don’t give it, you don’t get it. Why are all of the old cliches true?

My husband and I didn’t get to go to a NASCAR race that we’d already paid for because the race was 3 days before my due date with our first. My husband joked about going by himself as it was 5-6 hours away, but he knew better than that. Your husband sounds pretty selfish to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

So this would bother me just from the standpoint of exhaustion. Being home alone with kids while pregnant is another level of tired. Also the fact 3 hours a way is far in my opinion when you are close to your due date.
I gave my blessing to my husband to do a fishing trip 1 month prior to my due date. He didn't even feel comfortable with that as I am high risk and what if his cell didn't work. So he opted out.
So from both of our Sandpoint 2 weeks is too risky when you are dependent on someone when you are most vulnerable.

Nope I’d be mad. If something happens he won’t be there, labor can go quick especially after your first. I would try and convince him to cancel just in case, because if he does miss anything he might really regret it

I wouldn’t be happy about it but I would broach the subject and ask what his plan is if you end up going into labor while he’s gone.. if his response is “it’s not going to happen” I’d say that it’s certainly still a possibility and you want to know how to handle.

I’d be pissed. I’m 35 weeks 5 days and my husband knows technically she can come at any time now, especially because I’m high risk. If he had tried going for a weekend getaway so close to my due date I’d be fuming

I would not be bothered, at all.  He’s only 3 hours away, he can come back IF your in labor.
