Not being ready

Hey all, I really need help me and my partner broke up for about a month we have recently gotten back together and i guess I feel stupid bc I didn’t talk about getting back together first when I saw him. He’s now saying he wasn’t sure if he was ready yet and wanted to wait longer but never told me so idk what do to 🥺☹️
