My son is 5 days old and my breast are full of milk and he latches & eats fine during the day time . At night I am getting no sleep maybe a combined 90 minutes of sleep broken up during the night because he won’t latch or will only latch for a few minutes . Last night I broke down and pumped a 2.5 oz bottle at about 3 am he at most of it and has been asleep since , he even slept through his diaper being changed . Is it okay to give him bottles of breast milk at night ? My boyfriend works 10 hrs a days and comes home & takes care of him while I sleep for a couple of hours so I don’t want him to have to be up with him at night too .
