I don’t think this is a fair question. People who hold religious beliefs don’t all think the same just because they’re all Christian/Muslim/agnostic etc. we’re all individual people with our own beliefs, and while certain religions hold space for the needy, people interpret and practice these beliefs differently.

This has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with people as individuals. I am Christian and we invite the homeless to our church and serve them meals but I also know Christians (not living like we are called to) that wouldn’t give a dime or lend a hand. I don’t know much about the other religions but I don’t think my group of people is any better than other groups of people. Also I know atheist that have the kindest hearts who are very passionate about helping others.

It's ridiculous to try and measure. How do you measure how much someone or an organisation "cares"? By what they say they care about, or by what they actually do? And how many people care enough to learn the difference? 
If an organisation religious or otherwise gives shelter and food to 300 homeless people, but could afford to do that for 500 and don't, do they care more or less than the organisation who can only afford to provide food and shelter to 200 but makes it stretch to 300? They're both helping the same number of people, and likely only reporting that same number to their followers. 
There are selfish people in every group of every community. 
There are selfless people too.
