Not understanding anything we say ...

Hey everyone,

My 11 month old son (turns 1 in 2weeks) doesn’t really understand anything we say to him.. I’m starting to get concerned. He doesn’t turn his head when I call his name ( you call it a million times he won’t turn), i tell him to bring me something and he’ll just go do something completely different, i tell him no & he doesn’t understand what that means yet, if i tell him to do anything or say anything really he just doesn’t understand yet... i think the big one that concerns me is he doesn’t respond to his name. He also doesn’t talk either. The only word he will saying is momma ( but i don’t think he knows what that means) because he call everything momma lol.

He does babble a ton though. He claps his hands (when he wants to.. if i tell him to he won’t do it), he started to point at things, he walks and he hitting every milestone except for the talking and understanding areas.

He got his hearing tested and they said everything looks great.. is this normal ??? Or what could i do to help him understand his name and help him understand what i am saying to him ?
