Toddler not affectionate

My son doesn’t hug, kiss or cuddle (he will only cuddle if he is sick)

Is this normal? When he was a newborn I would always put him down once he fell asleep, and he always slept alone which works out good now because he is super easy to put to sleep and he sleeps in his own room with no problem but I can’t stop thinking that maybe I didn’t hold him or cuddle him enough when he was a lot smaller 😭
