I’m due in September. My 1 year old is in cloth so I wash every other day.

I planned to cloth diaper from birth this time, but adding up the costs, I’m having second thoughts 🤪 the costs of just the prefolds and covers for the newborn sizes exceed what I spent on newborn diapers for my son. This is my last baby so they won’t be used again. I always intend to resell stuff and then end up giving it away so I can’t plan to recoup costs that way 🤣.

How old was your baby before they fit into one size pockets? Or infant prefolds? I have about 50 infant prefolds and another 30 fst’s as I use them to stuff my son’s pocket diapers so once baby is big enough for those, I would just need 3-4 covers.

I just have no idea the best route. I was about to buy the preemie and newborn prefolds today, or a couple covers, and then had second thoughts 😅
