I did. Broke off an almost 5 year relationship. He was a good guy just not the one. A year later met “The One” now married w three kids trying for #4. He is amazing.

I just broke off a 5 year relationship for this reason. It’s hard to come to terms with the idea I spent so much time with someone that wasn’t right for me but grateful I’m making the change now rather than even later.

Yes. Life’s to short to be with someone you don’t feel likes the one. My mom and dad fight everyday, when I got older I never understood why they stayed together. I would ask my mom and she would always tell me that once you’ve been together for that long and have kids your stuck and have to just deal with what you have. I would never want to feel like that in a relationship.
