Holding Hand to Sleep

My daughter has to hold my hand to be able to fall asleep at night time. This started when she was sick a while back and I gave in, but she still WILL NOT sleep at night if I don’t do this. She’s totally fine at nap time.

For a while I had to lay on the floor to accommodate this ridiculousness. But lately have been trying to chair method my way back out of having to be in the room with her, but how do I get her to not need my hand anymore??

I write this with my numb ass arm laying over the chair, using my non dominant hand. It’s a struggle. Lol. But really I need to do this cause my husband will be working nights soon and I need to tend to my 4 month old instead of hold a hand for 45 minutes. 🙃
