Advice for a newly diagnosed PCOS person 🙏🏻

doglady

Hello ladies. I was diagnosed with PCOS a week ago (after 10 years pain, multiple miscarriages, & 5 or 6 different doctors who never performed any tests but told me the pill would help. I wont take birth control after some horrible experiences I’ve had in the past). I felt so relieved when I actually had a diagnosis after years or not knowing what was wrong with me.

Anyways, the reason I’m posting is because I’m doing some research on how to fix this naturally or at least reduce the amount of meds. I took 10 days of progesterone & am waiting to start clomid this week. I really didn’t know much about PCOS so I didn’t ask as many questions as I should have since he explained what it was, how the body works, and explained my ultrasound findings. I would love to hear some of the advice you heard from your doctors and what steps you are taking to help your hormones.

No Keto for me since I have a family history of heart problems and I don’t think there’s enough research on long term effects for people with heart conditions. But other than that, I’m open to any and all advice and things I can do now while I start the process. 🙏🏻 thank you in advanced.
