I got pregnant at 18 with no job, no drivers license, my freshman year of college. had no idea how i would do anything. didn’t even think i’d be able to finish college. felt so lost.

here we are five years later. i’m 23. with a four year old. just applied to GRAD school to get my master’s. i have a good full time job. my own car. my own house.

it gets better.. of course, i did have a lot of support most of the time

but there were times when i had no one and i was facing homelessness.

i tried to kill myself when i was 20.

just keep imagining the life you want and the life you’re going to be able to give to your child and know in your heart that it’s gonna happen. if you don’t have a support system MAKE ONE, churches are good even if you’re not religious, pregnancy clinics, support groups for teen moms, even on facebook !

get on WIC or other social services if you need to (you can get cash aid for up to 2 years i think depending on your state)
