Anyone gone to gynecologist with their toddler?

So I have an appointment coming up this week at the gynecologist for a pelvic exam and have no one to watch my toddler (almost 3 years old). 
Would this be a huge inconvenience for the doctor? Has anyone ever gone to their gynea appointment with their toddler? If so,how did you keep them occupied so the Dr could complete the exam?

With Covid I’d call your doctors office first to see if that’s even allowed currently. Many places aren’t allowing it.

Coming from someone who works at a gyn: please just reschedule until you have child care. It very rarely ends well when people bring in young children unattended.

My sister has. Just bring a toy or something, iPad/tablet. Oh well if it’s an inconvenience, you are paying for the appointment. Do what you gotta do.

Where I’m from, with the pandemic (Covid-19) Offices are only allowing you to bring one adult (18+) with you to appointment, no children are allowed. Call your doctor office and ask what there rules are at this time. It would probably be best to reschedule appointment for a day you can have childcare provided.

Just put your toddler in a stroller and give him/her your phone or iPad tablet whatever will keep the toddler distracted. And bring snacks!!!

My son has always gone with me. I don't have family to rely on for help. I would just check with your doctors office and make sure its ok. He would have a couple of toys with him and I would take a snack. I also have a couple of educational apps on my phone that he likes. I haven't ever had trouble with him going with me.
