34 weeks and measuring ahead??

Question

I went to the doctor yesterday and you know how they lay you back and measure your belly. The doctor told me I’m measuring a week ahead. What does that mean?

no it’s normal. could be how baby is positioned as well like another commenter mentioned. i have to do BPP’s weekly cause i’m high risk and i was 33+1 and the machine said 33+5. after 20 weeks they’re just guesses because babies grow differently

So, if your measuring a week ahead, does that mean you have a higher chance for the baby to come earlier? I got told the same?

Measuring ahead means nothing
And also at this point it could be wrong as baby is so big now

It just means your uterus is a tiny bit larger than it normally should be at 34 weeks. It's 100% normal though and I'm also 34 weeks and my uterus has been measuring ahead this entire pregnancy and it also did with my first baby.
