Does anybody else have Emetophobia?

(Fear of vomit) like a LEGIT fear, not just don't like it.
& where did your fear come from? And around what age!?

Yes full blown anxiety happens when I even sense that someone has a stomach ache

Yes I'm terrified, If I sense that anybody even has a stomach ache o start having a panic attack. I have no idea where it came from, I've been this way ever since I can remember

This fear lead me to having crippling anxiety and I hated being in public places around people because they might get sick or I might get sick it was awful but after years of therapy I have recovered and my anxiety has decreased dramatically. It's such an embarrassing fear to have!

I mostly have a fear of throwing up myself, I just find it gross when other people do it. But my fear came from when I was 14 and I had the stomach flu one night and started to choke on my vomit to the point where I couldn't breathe. It was so scary.

I can't even stand when cute babies spit up or when people throw up in movies. I've been like this as long as I can remember, don't know where it initially came from. Idk if this is weird or not but its exclusive to humans. If my pet cat or dog throws up, it's whatever. A human even mentions they threw up earlier that day, makes me want to get as far as possible from them.

Does anybody else have Emetophobia?
