Can I get some advice ladies ?

My son has been having a temperature for the past 3 days, and yesterday he started getting this “rash” on his face, it was on one side so we thought it’s a scratch from then he fell but today it’s gotten worse and the temperature has been rising to 39.3. I called the doctor yesterday before I saw the rash and he told me to just give him ibuprofen & paracetamol every 3h and make keep an eye on him, call in on Monday if it gets worse. What do I do is this just a cold sore ? Or could it be chicken pox ??

So it’s been 6 days and the “rash” has been getting worse!!! We went to a doctor, she said it’s harpies and gave him some anti virus medication, he’s been taking it for 3 days, and he is supposed to take it for 5 days. It’s now spread and it’s on his cheek and around his eyes I don’t know what to do since we seen 2 doctors already and they are constantly telling me to wait and see if it’s going away but it’s NOT !!! I hate to see him suffer and the temperature seems to be harder to get down with just paracetamol and they told me not to use ibuprofen, I just don’t know what to do anymore I feel hopeless :(
