My Jan baby was born 3 weeks early weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. He was and still is breastfed. I never have been an over producer and honestly at this point I can’t imagine I’m producing much of anything because we are not on a set schedule. We started solids at 6-7 months but he has become a picky eater. So some meals he will hardly touch anything. He drinks water, gets snacks and 3 meals a day. But recently he isn’t drinking as much nor eating as much and seems to want to nurse more, which concerns me because I know my supply is lacking. He is at the 10th percentile on the growth chart. He was never above the 25th percentile for weight since we have brought him home. Ped hasn’t been too concerned about his weight. He is 14 months old, can still wear a size 9 month onesie and is in size 3 diapers. Some 12 month clothes are too big on him. I’m just worried for his nutrition/ development. Any thoughts on this? I have been chalking it up to him just being small but he seems to be going lower on the growth scale for weight.
