Anyone else struggle to keep their LO awake for a full breastfeed?

What do you do to try and keep them awake so they feed properly? I have tried stroking my LO’s feet, changing her when she starts falling asleep and sitting her up to burp at regular intervals...

I have had two SLEEPY babies. They always prioritized sleep over anything else. My first one I had to pump before because the second she hit my skin she was so cozy she was out like a light. At the hospital my lactation consultant suggested taking off their clothing so they are not as cozy/ a little cold and it’ll wake them up. Didn’t work for me but you could try that!

Yep I have to strip mine to nappy every feed, change nappy when drozy then put on other boob.
Deep compressions of breast to keep guzzling, cold wipe on back, gentle breath in face and tickle those toes.
Always always falls asleep and I cannot feed for anymore than 20 mins before my LO passes out, but he's gaining weight so somethings going okay lol x

I have a very sleepy baby and nothing really worked. But we change diaper first to wake her up left her in just her diaper to feed and then tickled her. We also blow on her face to help wake her back up. Honestly that’s been the most successful but she still would fall asleep constantly. She’s now 5 weeks old and it’s finally getting better!
