When and how did you remove steri strips?

I recently had a csection on Nov.21st and my steri strips have begun to peel but not fall off yet.... What should I do just let them fall off on their own?

I took a shower and mine came off. I'd be afraid to peel them off... I'd feel like I'd end up pulling the incision open.

I've had 2 c sections and I just waited for them to get loose enough to pull off.

I had my baby on the 16th via c section and my doctor just told me on my 2 week check that I could take them off. A few had already fell off before that.

I had a c section on the 24th and all mine fell off yesterday in the shower.  My dr also have me some kind of adhesive remover pads that helped remove all the left over stickiness

My doctor said I could take them off after a week, but I was too nervous. She also said they could fall off in the shower, which they didn't. I had her take them off at my 2w appt.
