I was lying in bed last night and felt a sharp squeeze and then a small gush of fluid. I'm hoping to have a home birth so a midwife came and checked everything was ok then left me to it. Gentle contractions and more fluid during the night, and my contractions are now getting stronger and more frequent... I'm only 37+5 so it was a bit of a surprise and I don't feel like we've got everything ready yet, but we're very excited!
