Side effects of birth control help

After trying a new birth control this month I’m dealing with weight gain, vulvar swelling and tenderness and itching and inguinal tenderness. Has anyone ever had that happen? It’s really uncomfortable. Any remedies besides anti itch cream and loose clothing? It hurts to sit or walk😭 I don’t think it’s worth it to not get pregnant. At this point I’m willing to give up sex completely.
