I've been breastfeeding my 5 week old on demand. I want to try and make a freezer stash for when the lockdown is over. I have a medela electric pump (single). My baby feeds every 1.5 hours (more frequently in the evening) from one boob.

So when shall I pump? During a feed on the other boob?

Just before/after a feed on the unused boob?

I just did my first pumping session just before she was due a feed on the other boob. I got 1 oz. So I will need to do a few before making 1 sufficient feed.

Also have a 1 Yr old running around so can't be bf and pumping all day
