I don't get it

I don't understand why people get so mean and hateful towards each other over an opinion or a legit question. Especially in the Controversy Corner. The subjects there are meant to get actual opinions and responses without bashing people or name calling. Its ridiculous and down right silly how some women can get over a some opinion. Its just that: an opinion. If you don't agree, then simply state that

No need to keep reposting "it's their life or why does it matter it's none of your business." and then act like they have never done the same thing. I just don't understand.
