anyone else baby sit like this?

we have a check up appointment next month and im gonna talk to his doctor then, but when he crawls he also doesnt bend that knee.. he does stand and put weight on it and tries to step. it doesnt seem to bother him. just something i have noticed.

She sits the same way half the time, and crawls like this haha she can sit normally and crawl normally too but she goes faster like this haha

I found this awhile ago about “w” sitting. I think it just seems to be a core strength thing. My LO does it and I try to correct it quickly.

Mine does this all the time. I can understand why you are worried if it doesn’t bend with crawling so I think you should mention it. But also don’t worry too much yet my little bends her knees with crawling but kind of drags one forward vs bend/lift. I think it is just coordination of movement things. She bends it well though in other things and during diaper changes etc....

My LO does that still too but slowly he’s been groggy sitting and trying to stand on his own without support. He uses the standing walkers really well and even with one hand but he has yet to take the plunge and try it on his own. Every now and then when he sits he will do that with his knee too

My LO likes that pose in the bath tub.  I think it's ok. He was really awkward when he first started taking steps, but now he's learning to bend his knees and walks about 10 steps unassisted. I think they're just super flexible and can do poses that we wouldn't really dream about doing.

My friend has a daughter that only crawls like that. One leg straight and one knee bent 🤷‍♀️
