I mean, me & my guy best friend since 7th grade used to have casual sex in high school! lol, we’re still friends to this day but we don’t have sex anymore 😅 It’s not awkward or no ones feelings got in the way of our friendship.

It changed the relationship of one of my best friends of like 18 years. Still one of my good friends but it's only just in the last couple of years been almost back to normal besides that we both are married and have families so we don't see each other as much. It wasn super bad or anything it just felt different and slightly awkward lol now when we see each other it's our families hanging out and kids playing! No clue if he has told his wife but my husband knows we slept together and doesn't care at all.
