If you bought a home recently , did you find buying a home really stressful?

My boyfriend and I are trying to buy a home together and I own a home with my best friend currently (we’ve had it now for 6-7 years and we’ll be putting it on the market in a week or so). I just don’t remember things being as stressful when we bought our current home!

i got an apartment and that was stressful as fuck. i couldn’t imagine getting a house as well as selling it

The market right now is extremely brutal which caused some stress but my team was so amazing it was a pretty stress free process. The only stress we really had was trying to see a house before it sold 😅 or actually getting an offer in before it sold. The house we ended up with was on the market a day we scheduled the walk through and after we schedule they said no more walk throughs. Thankfully we were the last’s to get an appointment 😂 but anyway I think if you have a good team helping you through the process that makes all the difference. The market however I have no advice with that stress other then if you see a house you like you need to go see it ASAP no waiting around on it.

I’ve had the absolute worst time. Everything that goes up for sale is contingent within hours. I’ve done everything possible bidding on homes, and still have yet to buy one because it turns into a bidding war, and I lose out every single time.
