What does birthing feel like? With/without shot

Tell me how it feels and what was your experiences? Im just curious and tell me things i need to know or prepare. It would be interesting n helpful. Thanks!

Like every time I had a contraction my back was about to be ripped in half. I kept grabbing my hips acting like I needed to hold them together or they’d break apart 😂

I’ve had two unmedicated water births.  It is uncomfortable but it really is mind over matter, just remember you are made to do it, nature has not got it wrong for millions of years! Practise hypnobirthing, read Ina Mays guide to childbirth, watch positive birthing videos, and avoid everyone else’s horror stories...they are not your story.
The biggest obstacle to an uncomplicated unmedicated birth is fear.  Educate yourself so you are not fearful and you are so much more likely to have a positive birth experience.

Labour started at 11pm. 
It felt just like period cramps for me. I was waiting for it to get worse before getting meds. Mostly uncomfortable than painful.
Then I sat in a bath for like 30mins and felt NOTHING at all(discomfort and all just vanished while I was in the bath)
When I got out of the bath to refresh the water, they checked and I was fully dilated so too late for meds or epidural.
Started pushing at 5am. I'd push with the contraction, fall asleep when it passes, get woken by the next contraction and push again 😂
Baby was out at 5:25am.

Contractions for me feel like a mixture of the worst period cramps you’ve ever had with the cramps you get before getting really bad diarrhea. My legs get really weak and shaky and give out if I’m standing or walking. It’s also difficult to breathe through them, but moaning through them helps me so much. I got the epidural for my two deliveries because I have really bad anxiety and I know I wouldn’t be able to get out of my head with the pain. Plus I appreciate the rest I can get right before pushing a baby out and then spending the rest of the next 3 months exhausted with no sleep. I definitely plan to get the epidural again for my third pregnancy.

I had back labor, so everytime I had a contraction it just hurt really really bad in my lower back. Like someone was twisting my spine. I got an epidural and didn't feel anything after that except pressure. When it was time to push it just felt like a huge poop lol

Hhmmm I describe it as knives in my abdomen,  but I had no epidural by choice. I labored for 8hrs ( induced) I took contraction by contraction and controlling my breathing helped alot. Being on my back literally made the pain 15x worse. By the time I started pushing,  I couldn't feel contractions much and didn't feel the ring of fire. My husband was terrified lol 😆 he just watched in horror and rubbed on me. He did so good 😄 I thought for sure he was going to pass out. I think the pushing on my abdomen to take the placenta out was worse than pushing. Shit they used my abdomen as a damn trampoline 😐 and when they stitched me up the numbing had faded so I felt every stitch ..😬

I've had 2 unmedicated births and they've felt totally different. The only thing I can be prepared for when I have a 3rd it's that I have no idea what's coming

Tbh the worst part for me was everyone holding my legs. Nothing was more painful then having to bend and stretch like that when I was already in pain, it felt like my hips were going to break. Pushing was actually a relief because I could finally do something to stop the pain. Once my daughter came out the rest was all a daze. 
I was induced without pain medication but with a quick labor - 4 hours.

Like your abdomen has the most insane cramp. They are waves and they peak in pure Avada Kedavra pain for a few seconds but then recede. I went natural for the benefits to baby and to speed up the process (no waiting for epidurals and so on).
