Typical nursing session?

Idk why but here we are 3.5 months into ebf and I still question if we are doing it right and if he gets enough milk. How long does a typical nursing session last for your LO these days? Sometimes he only nurses for 5-10 minutes

Very normal behaviour as babies become much more efficient drinkers. As for the milk intake, as long as they are making 6+ wet heavy diapers during the day, is sleepy or seems satisfied after feeds, and has a steady growth, then your milk supply is sufficient for your baby. The output is a great tell of your input 😊
I nurse every 1.5 - 2 hours during the day and night time every 4-6 hours. They last maximum 10 minutes, but he stays on the boob longer since he sleeps and I let him.

This happened to me! My little guy will be 4 months on Friday and at about 3/3.5 month he started eating for dramatically less time. I think this is pretty common as they get more efficient at eating. My sessions have gone from 30+ minutes to 8-12!!

My baby has always eaten for around 8-10 minutes! He's a chunky 19lbs at almost 4 months so I assume he's getting enough 💗
